Abstract

1471941 Electrostatic precipitators JOY MFG CO 3 June 1974 [6 June 1973] 24541/74 Heading B2J [Also in Division F2] In order to prevent dust from being blown from out of an electrostatic precipitator during cleaning, elongate fabric bags are positioned adjacent the edges of the "curtains" of the precipitator, which bags are inflatable to seal off the precipitator. The bags are connected to mandrel elements of oval cross-section with a maximum length at least 175% as great as the maximum width.
