124,611. Davies, D. R. April 23, 1918. Hair - cutting devices of safety-razor type; razors, safety. A hair-cutting device applicable for use as a safety razor comprises a finetoothed hair comb a, Figs. 1 and 2, carrying a metal casing b adapted to receive a razor blade c in such a manner that the edge of the razor lies close to the points of the comb teeth. The razor blade is secured in position by hinged clips d and by a screw c<1>. In a modification, the comb a has transverse slots h, Fig. 5, to receive adjusting-bolts g, i passing through a clip f which holds the razor blade c in place.
