1,245,491. Comparing voltages. B. L. RUDNITSKY; Y. L. BURTOV and L. P. KAPINOSOVA. Jan. 1, 1969, No. 15/69, Heading G1U. An adjustable potential divider in a D. C. potentiometric voltage measuring system comprises a number of series-connected variable resistance decades 4, and a range selecting switch 8 which, in each of its positions, renders some of the decades 4 operative and the remainder inoperative, the number rendered operative being the same on all ranges so that the accuracy remains constant. The switch 8 couples control knobs 5-7 to the operative decades and may shortcircuit the remaining decades.
