Abstract
1,204,151. Measuring temperature electrically LICENTIA PATENT-VERWALTUNGS - G.m.b.H. Sept.27, 1967, [Sept.27, 1966], No.43916/67. Heading G1N. A constant current source 7, Fig.3, supplies a series combination of a reference (constant valve) resistor 13 and a selected one of temperature sensitive resistors 8<SP>1</SP>, 8<SP>11</SP>, 8<SP>111</SP>, the voltages across the reference resistor 13 and the selected resistor 8<SP>1</SP>, 8<SP>11</SP>, or 8<SP>111</SP> being successively compared by a memory 15 and comparator 16. An appropiate switch 12<SP>1</SP>,12<SP>11</SP>,12<SP>111</SP> connects the selected temperature measuring resistor to the reference resistor and also connects its output voltage to contacts of a switch 14. The switch 14 connects sequentially the voltages to be compared to an amplifier 10, the memory 15, the comparator 16 and an indicator 17. An analogue to digital convertor 11 may be used. The reference resistor may be of manganin.
