Abstract

1,242,348. Holder for rolls of carbon paper, &c. LAMSON PARAGON Ltd. 25 Feb., 1970 [4 March, 1969], No. 11537/69. Headings B6A and B6F A holder for a roll of transfer material such as carbon paper, and particularly for use in an autographic register wherein the carbon web is fed perpendicularly to the record webs, comprises a sheet of thermoplastics material such as polyethylene which is formed to provide a circular housing 2 to receive the roll and a pair of overlapping flanges 3, 4 between which the carbon web is pulled. The flanges 3, 4 are urged towards one another by the inherent resilience of the material of the container. After being passed across the writing surface 5 of an autographic register, the free end of the carbon web may be secured by a clamp 12. Feed of the record webs is effected by means of rotary pins 13 engaging perforations at the head of each form length.
