21,018. Bouracier, E. P. Sept. 9. Carbon papers and like transfer materials; holding edges of sheets together for duplicating &c.-Sheets a of impregnated textile fabric similar to ink-ribbon material, and provided with a backing of paint or solution or a thin sheet b of paper, gelatine, or other material, cemented, sewn, or otherwise attached, are used for manifolding in typewriters. One or more sheets a are attached at one end to a base sheet c, and covered at this end by a gummed or cemented strip d, the lines e of attachment coinciding to form stops for the original and copy sheets. The free end of the sheet a is strengthened by a single or folded strip f.
