Abstract

1,239,969. Typewriters. TRIUMPH WERKE NURNBERG A.G. 4 July, 1968 [20 April, 1968], No. 31977/68. Heading B6F. Power actions.-A driving pawl 20 pivotally mounted on a drive lever 14, has a curved cam surface 22 which co-operates with an arm 33 which guides the drive pawl 20 out of engagement with a snatch roll 35, the centre of curvature of the surface 22 coinciding approximately with the pivot point 16 of the drive lever 14. This combines the advantage of a gentle disengagement of the driving pawl from the snatch roller with a simple and certain adjustment. Adjustment for impression; sound deadening.- The arm 33 is coated with a sound damping material 34 and has a forked arm 30 embracing a disc 29 which is moved for adjustment by a screw 27. Collective adjustment may also be made by movement of the stump 18 carrying all the screws 27. Touch regulating; key-levers.-The key-lever 4 is mounted on links 2, 3. In a depressed position the lower link 3 engages a stop bar 39 which is elastic in nature. Bar 39 is mounted on arms 37 and an extension 38 holds it against a stop 6 by a spring 40.
