Abstract

1,237,022. Hydrocarbon conversion catalysts. STANDARD OIL CO. 18 March, 1969, No. 14084/69. Heading B1E. [Also in Division C5] Hydrocarbon conversion catalysts comprise a mixture of CoO, MoO 3 on a co-catalytic acidic support comprising crystalline aluminosilicate and a SiO 2 -Al 2 O 3 cracking catalyst, the alumino silicate being characterised by a maximum cubic cell dimension of 24.55Š, hydroxyl infra-red bands near 3700<SP>-1</SP>cm and near 3625<SP>-1</SP>cm and an alkali content of less than 1% weight, 2 to 5% of the oxide of cobalt and 4-15% of MoO 3 being present and the support comprising 5-50% aluminosilicate material.
