Abstract

123,393. Nelson, A. W. Feb. 28, 1918. Channels and reservoirs in pulleys. - A selflubricating loose pulley runs on a hollow bearing- sleeve 7 connected by a web 8 to a hub 9 fixed to a shaft 5. The ends 3 of the pulley fit closely to the shaft at 4 and have conical flanges 13 projecting into the sleeve 7 to retain oil, which is introduced through an opening 14. The oil passes through a hole 12 to the bearing-surface.
