Abstract

123,380. Scotson, E. W. Feb. 19, 1918. Moving-container apparatus. - A vessel 3 capable of being rotated on a transverse axis is detachably mounted in a frame 2 and is provided with an axial stem 13 carrying a series of dashers 14. The vessel is supported by semicircular bands 6, the ends of which enter and are secured in tubes 5 forming the trunnions on which the vessel turns. The bearings are open at the top so that the vessel can be removed. The stopper 4, which may be of the screw or other type, carries the rod 13 with the dashers 14. The dashers may be serrated at the edges if desired, the serrations alternating in adjacent dashers.
