[Also in Division H1] A flexible tube assembly for air or other fluids comprises a flexible tube 13 having a longitudinal groove 15, a coil spring 17 being secured to the tube 13 by means of the groove such that the tube is supported in a coiled form by the spring. The spring may be a cylindrical helix, at least partly a conical helix, or at least partly a flat spiral. The tube may be of soft P.V.C., polyurethane which may be reinforced, rubber or nylon.
