[Also in Division A1] A machine for the treatment of turf comprises a chassis 10, a turf slicing implement 27 on an axle 19, a power unit 22, a screw adjustment means 16a working through a link 16b for control of the height of the supporting wheels 14 which are mounted on arms 15 pivoted at 17 and steering arms 23 which can be rotated, as shown, and are locked in position by a clamping screw 24. Wheels 11 are mounted on an axle 12, an alternative setting of the axle is provided by holes 13. The turf slicing implement may be replaced by a tine carrying implement, Fig. 2 (not shown), triangular slitters of Specification 883,824.
