Abstract
1,231,684. Mounting burners. P. RIELLO. 18 April, 1969 [30 April, 1968], No. 19876/69. Heading F4T. A burner A mounted on a carriage B is moved to and from an aperture 3 in an oven wall so that it protrudes into the oven when operating, and a shutter C obturates the aperture when the burner is not operating. Thermostat 20 actuates pneumatic cylinder 15 which, by means of a lever G, a pin H, and a linkage 7, 12, first withdraws the burner A and then closes the shutter C, withdrawal of the burner opening microswitches 30 and 40 to prevent its operation. When heat is again required the sequence is reversed.
