Abstract
1,231,274. Olefine catalyst. PHILLIPS PETROLEUM CO. 2 April, 1968 [3 April, 1967], No. 61520/70. Divided out of 1,231,272. Heading B1E. The olefine reaction is carried out in the presence of a disproportionation catalyst comprising silica or thoria promoted by an oxide or sulphide of molybdenum or tungsten or an oxide of rhenium or tellurium OR alumina promoted by an oxide or sulphide or hexacarbonyl of molybdenum or tungsten or rhenium oxide or an alkali or alkaline earth metal, ammonium or bismuth phosphomolybdate OR aluminium, calcium, zirconium, magnesium or titanium phosphate promoted by an oxide or sulphide or hexacarbonyl of molybdenum or tungsten or rhenium oxide or magnesium tungstate or beryllium phosphotungstate OR silica promoted by molybdenum or tungsten hexacarbonyl and at least 0.1 part by weight of magnesium oxide.
