[Also in Divisions G2-G3] A pure fluid device comprises a tube 29 adapted to direct laminar flow into a tube 30 via a chamber 22 provided with swirl producing conduits 27 which can be supplied selectively with positive or negative pressure control signals to vary the pressure of the output signal from tube 30. The Specification sets out optimum dimensions and pressures for the device and describes its operation as an amplifier, a bistable device, a " nor " logic element, a latching relay and an alarm sensor.
