Abstract

A valve for discharging a plurality of substances under pressure comprises a housing 1 having a centrally located recess 2 in which a flexible slidable sealing member 10, a spring 12 and a discharge pipe are located. The discharge pipe 14 has two sets 16, 17 of diametrically apposed bores. Pressurized fluid can be introduced through discharge pipe 14 into a general container, on which the housing 1 is seated, since the elasticity of the member 10 will permit its lower edges to be held away by the pressure of the gas passing through. Two substances can then be dispensed simultaneously through the valve by axially depressing the discharge pipe 14 and sealing element 10, bringing bores 16 level with slots 5 and 6; said slots being connected via conduits 7 and 8 to flexible receptacles 21, 22 located within the general container and acted on by the pressure therein. Alternatively the general container can be dispensed with, the receptacles being pressurized by fluid or spring displaceable walls.
