Abstract
1,226,484. Endless conveyers. MAUL BROS. Inc. 31 Oct., 1969, No. 53582/69. Heading B8A. An endless, wire mesh, conveyer belt 10 is driven by a plurality of permanent magnets 46 mounted on a pair of driven chains 36, 38 and guided by a series of fingers 60, co-operating with notches 54, 56 in the magnets, into and out of contact with the inner surfaces of the upper and the lower runs of the belt. The magnets are U-shaped with a non-magnetic material (58), e.g. expoxy, between the limbs.
