Abstract

1,225,959. Filing papers &c. KING JIM CO. Ltd. 14 July, 1969 [26 Sept., 1968], No. 35347/69. Heading B6E. A document holding clamp moulded integrally of a plastics material comprises a cover plate 1 provided with prongs 4 and articulated by flexible hinge members 7 to a base-plate 4 which is provided with sockets 5 co-operating with the prongs 4. Opening of the clamp is facilitated by provision of a co-operating brims 9 and projections 10, the brims 9 forcing the cover plate 1 upwardly when the prongs are released from frictional engagement with the sockets 5. The clamp may be attached to a filing folder along its spine or an upper marginal edge.
