1,224,461. Air conditioning unit. AIR CONDITIONING (NORTH WEST) Ltd. 1 March, 1968 [1 Dec., 1966], No. 53805/69. Heading B1R. An air conditioning unit comprises a housing 10 containing a rotably mounted, perforated cylindrical drum 20 packed with a material such as glass fibres or coke and dipping in water so that the packing material is wetted as in use the drum is rotated. Air entering at an inlet 38 passes through the drum and an eliminator 76 to an outlet 36. A heating or cooling element is provided at or before the air inlet and a heating element is provided at the air outlet.
