1,224,459. Inductors. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd. 27 June, 1969, No. 32627/69. Addition to 1,090,028. Heading HIT. The arrangement of the parent Specification is modified in that the adjusting screw 12, instead of the nut or bush (24, Fig. 1, not shown) into which it screws, is made of a polyamide material and is initially unthreaded. The portion 26, of the screw 12, on which the thread is formed, may initially be of square cross-section. Since the screw 12, which is moulded through the tubular ferrite core (21), is not of metal, its head 22 may frictionally engage the wall of the bore in the core; so that the non-metallic cup washer which surrounded the head of the screw of the parent Specification is not used in this arrangement.
