A bracket 10 has a flange 19 for securing it to a vehicle door opening and is provided with a slot 21 for the adjustable positioning of a member 30 accommodating the drum shaft 8a of roller shutter which closes the door opening. The lateral guide 35 for guiding the shutter is secured to a secondary bracket 12 by bolts 31 engaging slots 20 in the bracket 10 thus allowing adjustments to be made for different size door openings and winding drum diameters.
