Abstract

1,120,659. Drive for sliding window. H. T. GOLDE G.m.b.H. 30 May, 1967 [28 May, 1966], No. 24966/67. Heading E2M. A drive device suitable for a sliding window of a motor vehicle comprises a housing 1, 2, a guide tube 3 extending from within the housing, a driving pinion 6 rotatably mounted in the housing, a flexible, toothed, long member 4, 5 guided in the tube and tangentially engaging the pinion, hole means 13, 14 in wall means of said housing contacting said tube, and a pair of outward projections 15a, b and 16a, b provided on said tube by stamping, said projections extending outwardly into said hole means and having sharp edges 17 arranged to engage respective sides of said hole means to secure the tube against axial displacement in the housing.
