[Also in Division F2] Bowden mechanism for transmitting movements of a gear lever arm 13 to a gear selector arm 15 of a gear-box comprises an inner flexible cable 31, having one end 21 pivotally attached to a fixed point 22 and the other end 18 pivotally attached to the gear selector arm 15, and a flexible sheath 17, having one end 23 connected to the gear lever arm 13 and the other end 19 mounted in a fixed ball housing 20. A gear lever 12 is secured to the arm 13 and they have a pivot 14 at their junction.
