1,217,284. Conveying and transferring hollow containers. KOMBINAT GALVANISCHE ELEMENTE VEB. 4 Feb., 1969, No. 6040/69. Heading B8A. A device for feeding hollow containers 4 from a receptacle 1 successively to a tun-off 8 and commonly orientated, comprising a reciprocating slider 2 which is arranged in the receptacle and which has a head to support the containers to lift same on to a moving conveyer belt 5 by which they are conveyed successively to a rolling rail leading to a receiving beam 7, parallel with which is disposed an alignment platform 9, and a conveying stage for the transitional depositing of the containers into respositories a-d along the beam and platform in accordance with the working cycles of the device, there also being provided a senser 19 for moving incorrectly orientated containers on the receiving beam 7 on to the alignment platform 9, an alignment device Cl for reversing the direction of the container on the platform 9, and a device 20 for returning such containers on to the receiving beam 7 for subsequent transfer to the run-off 8. A stop 23 holds the following container while transfer from the belt 5 is effected by a pusher 22. The sensor 19 is a pusher which enters the hollow interior of the container if the latter is correctly orientated and thus only displaces those incorrectly placed.
