Abstract

1,216,039. Drying apparatus. KOMBINAT PENTACON DRESDEN KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE VEB. 6 June, 1969, No. 28787/69. Heading F4G. A roll of photosensitive paper 2 from a developer 1 is guided on to a drying drum 4 by a roller 3 spaced close to the drum and after making contact with the drum the film is pressed against the drum by a cylinder 5. The drum may have a separate drive or be driven by the paper 2 passing round it. After drying, the paper passes over roller 7 to a remoistener and high gloss dryer (not shown).
