Abstract

1,215,868. Phosphatides. UNILEVER Ltd. 10 July, 1968 [13 July, 1967 (2)], No. 32914/68. Heading C2C. [Also in Division C5] Phosphatides containing at least 15% α- monoacylglycerophosphatide may be prepared by the enzymic hydrolysis using phospholidase A of a crude phosphatide such as soyabean or rapeseed phosphatide which contain about 65% diacylglycerophosphatides. Phospholidase A may be prepared by the partial heat-inactivation of pancreatin. The α-monoacylglycerophosphatide may comprise lysolecithin and lysocephalin in a ratio of at least 4: 1 by wt.
