[Also in Division E1] A marine structure comprises a platform supported on a single tubular column 1 having a longitudinal axis of symmetry. A single stabilizer element 5 having a single axis of symmetry is secured to the column with its axis of symmetry coaxial with that of the column. In the embodiment of Fig. 3 the stabilizer element 5<SP>11</SP> is at the lower end of the tubular column.
