[Also in Division B8] An installation for the etching of flat articles 20, 23 includes conveyer roller members 14 each comprising a cylindrical body 15 on which are formed pegs 17 for supporting the articles. The length of the pegs is at least half the diameter of the body 15. To prevent a small article, e.g. 23, from falling between adjacent rollers, wires 27 of an anti-corrosive material extend between side members 26 of a removable frame 24. The roller members 14 are made of a plastics material and the pegs (17) may be helically arranged, Fig. 5 (not shown). The conveyer is driven by a motor via chain and sprockets 10, 11. A housing 2 for the conveyer also contains spray installations 3, 4 of which 3 may be movable.
