[Also in Division G1] Liquid ammonia carried on a tractor is fed from a tank 1 to delivery pipes 5 at a rate proportional to the speed of the tractor. A tractor wheel 10 cyclically operates a micro-switch 9 via a cam or a cable to cause a timing unit 8 to energize a solenoid valve 7 in the liquid feed line 2 for a fixed period between operations of switch 9, allowing preset quantities of liquid to be released at a rate proportional to the tractor speed.
