Abstract

1,208,257. Manifolding stationery assemblies &c. LAMSON PARAGON Ltd. 27 May, 1969 [28 May, 1968], No. 26747/69. Heading B6A. Manifolding stationery assemblies comprising a plurality of zig-zag folded, superposed webs 2, 4, 8, Fig. 3, are registered with one another by striking a tongue 12 out of one of the outer webs 2, 4, passing the tongue through aligned registering apertures 16, 18 in the intermediate webs 8 and the other of the outer webs 2, 4 and adhering the tongue to a line of adhesive 14 on the other of the outer webs. All webs except the lower outer web 4 are provided on their obverse surface with a pressure sensitive or like image transferring layer 10. In another embodiment the tongue 32, Fig. 8, is struck out of. the lower outer web 4, passed through aligned apertures 38, 39 in the webs 2, 8 and adhered to a line of adhesive 34 on the upper surface of the lower outer web 4. In a further embodiment lines (42, 44, Fig. 13) of adhesive are provided on the external surfaces of the upper and lower outer webs 2, 4, Fig. 11, and a separate tongue in the form of a strip 40 is passed through aligned registering apertures 41 and adhered with its free ends to the lines of adhesive.
