1,207,715. Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer compositions. PHILLIPS PETROLEUM CO. 29 March, 1968 [31 March, 1967], No. 16263/68. Heading C3P. Compositions comprise a homogeneous blend of (1) a solid ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer containing 25 to 35 weight per cent of vinyl acetate and (2) a solid ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer containing 0À5 to 1-5 weight per cent of vinyl acetate and having a molecular weight higher than that of component (1), the vinyl acetate content of the blend being 1.0 to 7.5 weight per cent. The compositions may also comprise carbon black, and may be used for coating wires and cables.
