Abstract

1,205,876. Clips. HIATT & CO. Ltd. 23 July, 1969 [24 April, 1968], No. 19339/68. Heading E2B. In a clip of the kind comprising a slit pipeemibracing portion 10 having a pair of apertured flanges 12 disposed on opposite sides of the slit 11, the clip is formed as a one-piece moulding, e.g. of polypropylene, and one of the flanges has, moulded integrally with it, a hollow expansible plug 16 for engagement in a wall or other structure and intended to receive a fastening element passing through the apertures 14 in the flanges. A wood screw may be driven into the apertures and the interior of the plug to expand the plug in a hole in the wall and also to secure a pipe in the clip.
