Abstract

1,205,597. Switch cases. M.K. ELECTRIC Ltd. 26 July, 1968 [24 Oct., 1967], No. 48316/67. Heading H1N. In a wall box for flush mounted electrical switches or socket outlets, pairs of fixing lugs 15, Fig. 1, are arranged on opposite walls 13 of the box and are formed on curved arms 16 having limited sliding and pivotal movement to allow for alignment of the cover plates 20. Guides 17 for the arms 16 are riveted to the side walls 13 and may be mounted in the region of recessed portions 32 whereby the dimensions of the short walls 14 may be reduced while the standard dimensions for the fixing hole positions are maintained. Additional fixed and adjustable fixing parts 26, 28 may also be provided on the other pair of opposite walls 14.
