The cover of a metal switch or like box 1 is secured by screws which engage threaded holes 7 in insulating members 3, which are slidably adjustable between lugs 8 pierced from the side of the box and engaging over lateral extensions 6 of the members. The bottom of the box has an aperture located between each pair of lugs to ensure that an extra-long cover screw does not contact the box.
