120,493. Vickers, Ltd., Pearson, R. J. A., and Power, W. E. Feb. 2, 1918. Taps; reamers.-Relates to taps, reamers, &c. in which the cutters are adjusted by a central cone and consists in means for locking them in the adjusted position. The end a<2> of the shell is grooved at a<3> to receive the ends of the cutters, the bottoms of the grooves being inclined to suit the ends of the cutters. The inner face of the end a<2> is undercut to fit the dovetails c on the cutters, which are oppositely inclined at the other end to correspond with an undercut ring D which fits the shell and is moved inwards by a nut d to lock the cutters.
