Abstract

1,202,632. Vehicle seats. G. GRAMMER [trading as WILLIBALD GRAMMER]. 3 May, 1968 [6 May, 1967], No. 21219/68. Heading A4J. The base frame 7 of a vehicle seat is secured to two blocks 10 which slide in a U-shaped track 9 on a frame 8 rigidly connected to the vehicle, and the base frame 7 is clamped in adjusted position by a bar 11 which passes through the base frame, the blocks 10 and slots 16 in the frame 8 and has a locking pin 18 at one end and a part 12 threaded on to the other end. Additional guide elements 14 are pivoted to the base frame. The seat 4 is connected by a pivot 6 to a further frame 1 and to the base frame 7 by a pivoted link 5. The further frame 1 is flexibly connected to the base frame 7 by springs within the base frame 7.
