Abstract

1,202,519. Bottle racks; joints. HANDELMAATSCHAPPIJ CURVER N.V. 10 Feb., 1969 [13 Feb., 1968], No. 7086/69. Heading A4H. A bottle rack comprises superposed shelves each composed of a pair of spaced parallel horizontal ledgers 1 or 1<SP>1</SP> interconnected by spacer members 2. Each spacer member is H-shaped with a cruciformsection cross-piece (10) and tapared square section mortises 12, or tenons, on the ends of the sides co-operating with tapered cruciform-section tenons 9, or mortises on or in the ledgers. The mortise-and-tenon joints may be replaced by elongated- or circularsection pin-and-socket joints. Ledgers 1, 1<SP>1</SP> and spacers 2 are injection moulded respectively of impact resistant polystyrene and polyethylene. The ledgers are of I-section, the flanges 3 providing recesses 4 for bottles 5. Local transverse webs 6 and holes are provided.
