Abstract

Air conditioning apparatus for an air-tight container B for electrical apparatus comprises a tube d<SP>2</SP> containing a filter d, a desiccant d<SP>1</SP> and leading to a resilient impermeable expansible bag d<SP>3</SP> in a casing A open to atmosphere, and an inlet C having a filter c<SP>1</SP>, a desiccant c<SP>2</SP> and a non-return valve c, air flow to and from the container B being caused by changes in atmospheric pressure or temperature. The filter d is fabric, the filter c<SP>1</SP> cotton wool, the desiccants d<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>2</SP> silica gel and the bag d<SP>3</SP> polythene.
