Abstract

1,199,600. Hydrostatic transmissions. KOPAT GES. FUR KONSTRUKTION ENTWICKLUNG UND PATENTVERWERTUNG m.b.H. & CO. K.G. 13 Dec., 1967, No. 56610/67. Heading F2C. [Also in Division F1] A hydrostatic transmission comprises a swash-plate pump and a swash-plate motor disposed on either side of a control disc 102, both swash-plates being pivotally adjustable to vary the stroke, and the cylinder blocks 105, 205 being rotatably supported on an axle 130 by roller bearings 106, 107, 206, 207, which prevent radial and tilting movement of the cylinder blocks, but permit axial movement. A pair of filling valves 135 act to supply working liquid from a pump connected to conduit 136 to the conduit 124 or 125 under suction. A decoupling valve 137 short-circuits conduits 124, 125 when the filling pressure falls, e.g. during standstill. Passages 138, 139 convey working liquid to lubricate the swash-plate assemblies.
