Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. - The detachable rim f is fitted with seating- pieces g shaped to engage taper notches e in one edge of the fixed rim a and similar recesses in a flange c on the other edge of the rim a. The flange c may be replaced by spaced brackets separately bolted to the fixed rim. The rim f, which is secured by transverse bolts h passing through the felly b and the members g, is of the expansible type, the ends being secured by pins on a connecting-plate.
