1,192,427. Rotorcraft rotors. BÍLKOW G.m.b.H. 20 Nov., 1967 [15 July, 1967], No. 52772/67. Heading B7W. A rigid rotor for a rotorcraft has an even number, at least four, rotor blades 20 ... 25 each having rigidly connected thereto a blade shank sleeve 10 rotatably mounted for pitch change in a bearing sleeve 4 formed on the rotor head, each diametrically opposite pair of rotor blades, e.g. 20, 21, being interconnected by a laminated tension bar 30 which is without outside restraint between its connections to the pair of blades, the individual pairs of blades with their associated tension bars being located in different superimposed planes. The tension bars 30 may be pre-tensioned by conical springs 33.
