The description of the brake-actuating device is identical with that of Specification 1,192,337, but the claims are directed to the means for adjusting the main spring 8. It is stated in the present Specification that the sleeve 10 may be furnished with peripheral fluting or external toothing or recesses for engagement by a spring- loaded detent element to prevent inadvertent rotation instead of using a locking nut as disclosed in the aforementioned Specification.
