Abstract

1,190,241. Portable containers. AEROSOL INVENTIONS & DEVELOPMENT S.A. 1 Feb., 1968 [1 Feb., 1967], No. 4952/67. Heading B8D. [Also in Division Fl] A container receiving an aerosol dispensing can and a spacer C, comprises a cylindrical member B, e.g. of polyethylene, having a closed end F with an aperture E through which the dispensing can valve projects, and an open end G through which the can and spacer are inserted into the container, a base member D being detachably secured over the open end by screw threads H. A protective cap A, provided with vent holes M, is press-fitted on the container. The spacar may be in the form of a protective cap for the aerosol dispensing can. A handle may be moulded on the container for use as a garden insecticide pack. The container may be fitted with a brush or sponge for paint or upholstery cleaner. After use, the can and spacer may be replaced by a can of a size to fill the container.
