1,189,606. Steering vehicles; axle arrangements. DAIMLER-BENZ A.G. 24 April, 1968 [25 April, 1967], No. 19381/68. Headings B7D and B7H. A motor vehicle has an undriven front, steerable axle and two driven, rear axles, one of which is steerable. The non-steered rear axle may have twin wheels and may be either the forward or rearward of the pair. All of the steered wheels may be of the " steering knuckle " or " king pin " type, whereby the axes of all of the wheels intersect at a point while negotiating a bend.
