In a luggage carrier for a perambulator, a carrier means 11 has parallel tubular members 12 interconnected by transverse stays 13 and has a rectangular wire frame 14 secured to the stays 13 with ends 15, 16, offset, downwardly in use, below the plane of the rest of the frame for releasably securing the carrier means to the axles 5, 6 of the perambulator, and limbs 10 of a U-shaped frame 7 attached to the underside of a wire basket or tray 1 engage slidably in the tubes 12 so that the basket may be pulled out from below the permabulator undercarriage 2. The ends 15, 16 are of different lengths, the end 16 first engaging axle 6 whereupon movement of the carrier means is reversed until the end 15 engages axle 5. Hook ends 8 of a rod 9 on the bottom of the basket embrace the tubs 12 to keep them spaced from the basket during sliding and a spring catch 17 on the basket snaps over the axle 5 to secure the basket in its fully home position. Contact between the hook ends 8 and axle 5 prevents the basket being completely withdrawn. In a second embodiment, Figs. 5, 6 (not shown), the carrier means comprises a U-shaped frame with tubular limbs to receive guide rods on the basket for sliding, the free ends of the limbs each having a bracket which first embraces the axle (5), and a channel cross-section member forming the base of the U and open downwardly in use, subsequently embraces axle (6) and is secured thereon by a spring clip. A clip on the bottom of the basket engages the axle (6) when the basket is pushed home and strikes axle (5) to prevent complete removal of the basket.
