GO-CART RECEPTACLE Filed April 25,-1945 R R N mm m mm m av-W Patented Apr. 29, 1947 UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE 2 Claims. 1
This invention relates to an attachment for a childs go-cart; the main object being to provide a merchandise-holding container adapted to be removably mounted on the handle of a go-cart. A mother may thus take her child for an airing in the go-cart, while at the same time being equipped with a wheeled marketing receptacle, so that she may conveniently shop and take home her purchases without having to carry either the child or said purchases.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the container, detached. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the container. Fig. 3 is a rear end elevation of the container. Fig. 4 is a back view of the container as attached to the handle of a go-cart.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the container as mounted on the go-cart.
Referring to the numerals of reference on the drawings, the merchandise carry attachment comprises a rigid open-topped container or receptacle I of rectangular form in cross section.
The sides of the container may be substantially handle unit, the top of said container is somewhat below the top of said unit, while the front wall 2 is vertical, and is clear of the child's seat on the go-cart as shown in Fig. 5. The child,
and a considerable number of packages, may thus be carried on the one wheeled vehicle.

The combination with a vehicle having a manipulating handle comprising spaced substantially parallel bars connected by a cross bar; of a container of greater breadth than the distance between said spaced bars adapted to be supported therebetween, and hooks carried by said container for supporting engagement upon said cross bar and spaced apart a distance equal to the distance between said spaced bars.
2. The combination with a vehicle having a manipulating handle comprising spaced substantially parallel bars connected by a cross bar; of a container adapted to rest upon said spaced bars and of greater width than the latter, and hook members secured to said container intermediate the upper and lower ends thereof and adapted to engage said cross member, said'hook members spaced apart a distance equal to the distance between said spaced bars.
