Abstract

1,187,966. Filing papers; sheet holders. W. & J. JARVIS Ltd. 26 May, 1967 [3 June, 19661, No. 24764/66. Addition to 948,166. Headings B6A and B6E. Grippers for attaching a sheet 6, Fig. 1, to a backing 1 through the intermediary of a block 3 having a plurality of C-shaped channels 4, as claimed in parent Specification 948,166 is modified in that the longitudinal flaps having their opposite inner faces provided with adhesive are replaced by resilient jaws 7 which grip the sheet 6 between them. In a modification the relative force of the jaws 7 is increased by providing the distal ends with gripping teeth 15, Fig. 4. The gripper 5, Fig. 1, may be extruded integrally from a plastics material, whereby the resilient jaws 7 are made from a rigid plastics and the hinge portion 9 and mounting bead 8 are made from a softer, flexible plastics material. The gripper 10, (Fig. 3) is extruded in two separate portions from rigid and soft plastics materials for the jaws 11 and hinge portion 13, respectively, and the separate portions are then joined together by welding or cementing.
