Abstract

1,054,185. Filing folders. W. LENNARTZ. July 19, 1963 [July 26, 1962], No 28773/63. Heading B6E. A filing folder is made from an integral sheet 1, Fig 2, of synthetic plastic material and comprises two side panels and a spine 2, which is provided with a plurality of grooves, extending longitudinally along the spine. The external longitudinal margins may be provided with flat tubular members 3 for the reception of suspension means. In another embodiment in Fig. 3 the spine is provided with ribs 4 and 4<SP>1</SP>, the rib 4 serving for the reception of a hanger member (Fig. 3a, not shown). In a further embodiment (in Fig. 4, not shown) the rib 4 is dispensed with and the remaining rib is used for attachment of sheet clamping means (not shown). In a still further embodiment (Fig. 5, not shown) the spine is shaped in an arcuate form. In a final embodiment (Fig. 1, not shown) the spine is defined by two grooves only. In all the embodiments the integral folder may be made from translucent, transparent or opaque sheets and the panels may be of a rigid and the spine of a flexible synthetic plastics material.
