1,185,178. Brake pad and carrier combinations. ALFRED TEVES G.m.b.H. 5 Sept., 1967 [28 Jan., 1967], No. 39082/69. Divided out of 1,185,175. Heading F2E. In a brake pad and brake pad carrier combination having a substantially rectangular metal carrier 1 and a substantially rectangular brake pad 3, the shorter side edges of the carrier are bent at right angles to the plane of the piece of metal forming the carrier 1 and the extremities of these edges are further bent so as to dig into the end faces of the brake pad when the combination is assembled and suspension eyelets 2 are provided in the piece of metal for mounting the combination in a disc brake assembly.
