Abstract

118,479. Williams, E. O. Sept. 14, 1917. Concrete vessels.-Reinforced-concrete decks are cast in situ with ribs beneath by means of non-collapsible moulds 3 which are supported from the scaffolding joists 4 by pivoted wings 5 The wings are turned into the planes of the joists, as shown on the right-hand side of the Figure, to allow the moulds to be withdrawn downwards. With longer joists 4, slots are made in a deepening web in which the wings 5 can turn.
